What We Do

Our goal is to serve as a resource to maximize the health and wellbeing of American Indian and Alaska Native people through water and sanitation service. We do this through Tribal capacity building, health promotion, technology improvement, water advocacy and health research.

Our Water Toolkit

The “Our Water” Toolkit provides resources for education and action planning to American Indian and Alaska Native communities who manage and operate their own water systems. The toolkit aims to connect and support tribes in their efforts to ensure sustainable access to safe water and maximize the benefits of water and sewer infrastructure.

Who We Are

The Tribal Water Center was established in 2011 and is located within the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC), a not-for-profit health organization managed and operated by its customer–owners. As a member of the Alaska Native Health Board, ANTHC works closely with the National Indian Health Board to address Alaska Native and American Indian health issues.
